YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
Email info@powerbands.com.au with:
- Your order number or receipt
- A photo of the product showing the fault
- A short description of what happened
We'll respond within 2 business days. If the claim is accepted, we'll arrange a repair or replacement at our expense. You are responsible for the cost of sending the product to us; we cover the cost of returning the repaired or replaced product to you.
If a product has a major failure, the Australian Consumer Law rights described above apply and you may choose a refund or a replacement.
PRODUCT CARE
- Store in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight. Prolonged UV exposure damages natural latex.
- Clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
- Avoid abrasive surfaces.
- Do not stretch bands or tubing beyond 150% of their resting length (1.5 times). Bands become far more likely to break beyond this point.
- Inspect your bands for tears, wear or damage before every use. Never use a damaged band.
A few extra tips for latex bands
- Check for small nicks as well as tears before each use.
- Keep bands away from sharp edges, such as rough bars, rack corners and jewellery.
30cm fabric bands
Our 30cm fabric bands are machine washable.
SAFETY
- Latex allergy: Powerbands Activation Loop Bands are made of natural latex. If you have a latex allergy, do not allow the bands to contact your skin.
- Check for manufacturer defects before first use. If you find any, do not use the product and contact us immediately.
- Wear proper footwear when looping bands over your feet.
- Do not stretch a band beyond 150% of its resting length.
- Consult your doctor or a qualified health practitioner before starting any new exercise programme.
Resistance bands store energy under tension and can cause injury if they break or slip. Please use them carefully and as directed.
NOT A FAULT?
If your product isn't faulty but it isn't right for you, our 60-day money-back guarantee lets you return any product within 60 days of purchase for a full refund to your original payment method. Return postage is the customer's responsibility. See our refund policy for how it works.
